We started this foundation because we believe every Nigerian woman carries within her the strength to change her world — she just needs the tools, the training, and someone in her corner.
Bertha Onyeneke, Co-Founder & TrusteeThe Strength of a Skilled Woman Foundation is a registered Nigerian nonprofit, incorporated on 26th January 2026 by the Corporate Affairs Commission (RC: 8697769). We are based in Rivers State and work across Nigeria to empower women through vocational skills training, entrepreneurship support, digital education, health awareness, and gender rights advocacy. We believe a skilled woman is not just an individual success — she is a catalyst for community transformation.
Our CausesTo empower Nigerian women through skills acquisition, entrepreneurship training, and advocacy — creating pathways to financial independence, dignity, and community leadership.
A Nigeria where every woman, regardless of background, has access to the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to build a life of independence and contribute meaningfully to her community.
We are guided by Empowerment, Integrity, Inclusion, Compassion, and Excellence. We treat every woman we serve with dignity and hold ourselves accountable to the communities that trust us.
Incorporated in January 2026, we are just getting started — and already making a difference.
