Bertha is a passionate advocate for women's economic empowerment with years of experience working at the intersection of skills development, community mobilisation, and social enterprise. She co-founded The Strength of a Skilled Woman Foundation out of a deep conviction that the most powerful investment any society can make is in the potential of its women. Her vision, drive, and leadership have shaped the Foundation from its very first steps.

Justina brings a wealth of experience in programme management, training facilitation, and community development. She believes deeply in the transformative power of practical skills and has spent her career working to ensure that women — particularly those in underserved communities — have access to the tools, knowledge, and networks they need to flourish. Her commitment to excellence and inclusion is the backbone of everything the Foundation delivers.
Skills & Training
Oversees the design, scheduling, and delivery of all vocational and digital training programmes, ensuring every participant receives high-quality, impactful instruction.
Community Engagement
Connects the Foundation with communities across Rivers State, identifying women in need, building trust with local stakeholders, and mobilising participation in our programmes.
Finance & Administration
Manages the Foundation's accounts, donor records, grant reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements — ensuring every donation is accounted for with full transparency.
Communications & Media
Tells the stories of the women we serve through social media, newsletters, and press. Amplifies the Foundation's voice and builds the relationships that help us grow our reach and impact.
